BASIC QUALIFICATION |

- Score of 60% in class Xll (A level)
- Student must be from an English medium school
- No demerits or compartments in class Xll
Candidates meeting the above qualifications will have to appear for an Aptitude Test and a Personal Interview.
The Aptitude Test will have two sections:
First : English (English Usage, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reason and Vocabulary etc.)
Second : Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Mathematics, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning etc.)

The interview will be an interaction with a panel of two or three people including the Director. The interview will assess the candidate on its academic knowledge, awareness of current topics, communication skills.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of following criteria :

Admissions will be made separately for those opting for the third year in UK and for those opting for the third year in India.
Selection will be based on the candidate's choice, performances and availability of places.
Students selected for the third year in UK who join, and later decide not to go, will have to pay a penalty of GBP 2000. |

Dear student,
The entrance test for the Daly Business School is designed to identify and select the prospective students with basic managerial aptitude. We understand that everybody getting registered with us wishes to seek an admission in this institution. Here is some advice to you as how to prepare for the above said entrance examination.
The entrance test paper will have two sections; Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal aptitude. Paper will have 40 multiple choice questions in all, 20 from each section. Total time provided to solve the paper will be 60 minutes.
- For Quantitative aptitude and Logical Reasoning Section: Revise the mathematics of class 7th, 8th and 9th. Pick up the book of Quantitative aptitude By R.S. Agarwal or any other book of similar kind and solve the Arithmetic and Algebra parts from the same. The relevant topics are – Numbers, HCF/LCM, Simplification, Average, percentage, profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Problems on Age, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Trains, Partnership, Chain Rule, Simple & Compound Interest, true Discount & banker’s Discount (20 questions in this section)
- For Verbal aptitude Section: Read variety of magazines, newspapers and novels to improve your reading comprehension. It also helps build your vocabulary. Books/guides are available in the market for preparation of TOEFL/ GRE. These will help you prepare for reading comprehension, vocabulary atonyms & Synonyms), sentence completion, grammatical errors in sentences and probably short paragraph to write. (20 questions from this section)
