PhD in Social Psychology

Dr. Lavina Singh, completed her PhD in Social Psychology from Magadh University (2015). She is UGC NET qualified (2013), done her MBA with Major in HR and Minor in Marketing, and MA (Counselling Psychology). Besides these, she has completed various certification courses like Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Hypnotherapy level 2 and Family Therapy.

In addition to her engagement with DCBS, she is also working as counselling psychologist at Visit app and Joint Secretary of Malwa Mental Health Organization (NGO). Also working as visiting faculty for Psychology and Management at School of Social Sciences, DAVV, Indore. She has 12 years + experience and worked with various institutes like Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, School of Management Sciences, Lucknow, VNS Group of Institute, Bhopal.

She has presented more than 12 research papers in various international and national conferences. Won third prize worth Rs. 5000/- in Case Writing Competition organized by Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior and received Best Teacher Award from Varanasi Management Association.

Her expertise lies in Career Counselling, Relationship Counselling, Adolescents counselling. She has done the counselling of COVID positive police department employees during first wave & corporate counselling during second wave of covid 19 and also successfully completed the first phase of need assessment of students of class 8 and 9 of government schools under MOU signed with Student Police Cadets Program.

She is an active member of Sahayog Counselling Cell of School of Social Sciences, DAVV, Indore, Gurudakshina Group along with Malwa Mental Health Organization.
