Dr. Rinku Joshi

Director (Ph.D., MBA)

An academician, a certified trainer by Bosch Foundation and MEPSC under Skill India Mission, Dr Rinku Joshi is currently designated as the Director DC Business School and the Convener, State Panel of Industry-Academia of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). She has effectively taught at postgraduate and graduate levels in the colleges of national repute with an overall teaching and training experience of over 18 years. She is currently serving as the Member Board of Studies with IPSA-IBMR. Dr Joshi has been a corporate trainer with Destination Outdoor Learning Systems based at Noida and successfully conducted corporate training programs for Samsung Engineering Lab, L & T, Mumbai, Dainik Bhaskar, Franklin Templeton and Glaxo SmithKline to name a few.

She is a Doctorate and a Post Graduate in Management from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. An augmented believer of a progressive attitude, she has been awarded with the Certificate of Nation Builder under the Nation Building initiative by Bosch Foundation. She was recently chosen as one of the ONLY four trainers across India for Corporate Social Responsibility on behalf of BOSCH Foundation. She has various publications to her credit in addition to being a Reviewer for various journals publishing internationally in the areas of Education & Social Studies and Humanities.

Dr Joshi is a firm believer in uphill learning with the contemporary scenario which has been her navigator to achieve her life aspirations. She always ensures that these essentially merge with quintessential life skills and values like integrity, commitment, and transparency in her academic career so far. She has been into visiting assignments with Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Chapter Office, Indore and JNTU, Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with University of Canada West. She has taught Marketing of Services, Service Operations Management, Global Business Issues, Introduction to Work & Organisations, Business communication, Soft Skills, Business Ethics & Corporate Governance, Business Ethics & Indian Ethos, Social Entrepreneurship. Indian Models in entrepreneurship, Behavioural Science, Social Psychology and English. This broad-spectrum experience enables her to effectively relate with the graduate and post graduate students of the management stream.

She has been conducting training and orientation programs for students, teachers at TGT and PGT levels, and corporate in the areas of soft skills. The feedback from the environment has been praiseworthy, as the aspirants have exhibited positive benefits, both in their early professional careers, as well as in their social interactions in the business environment. Being a committed believer in augmentation, Rinku accordingly cross-fertilizes varied management techniques to produce user satisfaction results. She has been co-facilitating experiential training programs for Indian and UAE based business organizations like L & T, Samsung, Escorts Agri-Machinery, Dainik Bhaskar, Vodafone, Piramal Healthcare and the BESTSELLER to name a few.

Prof. Joshi has written and presented various research papers in the area of Sustainable Business Environment, Customer Relationship Management, Social Entrepreneurship. Business Ethics & Corporate Governance, and Human Resource & Management. A case based on family owned and governed businesses at Sonic Bio-chem, submitted to The Indian School of Business, Hyderabad which has earned widespread accolades.
